Description

To go along with my recently posted wide-field (and upside-down!) NGC 7000/IC 5070 shot in natural color, I also collected data in Sulphur-II for a narrowband image. It's incredible to me how much better the dark nebulae show up in this version. It makes it so much more obvious that the North American and Pelican nebulae are not two separate objects, but actually one large nebula bisected by a bridge of dark dust crossing in front.
